Well, it looks like some fruit trees are going to get frosted tonight,
estimates from 25 to 28 degrees for a low. Rats!
Picked all the asparagus, garlic and onions should be able to take it.
Have sorghum, broom corn and Wapsie Valley grinding corn ground ready. Lots of plants ready to transplant when nature cooperates....heck, it's early yet. Bay window in living room is a great greenhouse and seeing green indoors is so peaceful.
Last year was a disaster with washouts and too much rain, too late. Lost broom corn, could not even get into the sorghum field, horses would have been belly deep in mud.
I almost lost a barn boot when walking over to check it.....one step too far.
Hope everyone's spring is going well.
God bless,
Mike
Getting a new to me spring tooth harrow tomorrow.
