Yesterday the neighbors were finishing up baling twenty some acres of nice bright alfalfa hay... November 3rd! Who'd a thunk it........
God blessed us this year with good weather but a tad too much rain.'
Lost much of the garden due to springs springing up, side hill seeps.
Garlic was a washout as were most of the tomatoes and about two acres of sweet sorghum.... Our Mulefoot hogs, about fifteen, enjoyed the wet up to a point. When a pig says it's too wet, well, you have to wonder. Their two acre area got kind of sloppy in places. The seven horses, five drafts, got along fine on their hill top location, hooves in great shape.
Still, a good year
