For some reason this question also reminds me of one of my favorite farming jokes.

It seems this old boy bought an otherwise good piece of land that had been pretty bad neglected. House, barns and outbuildings leaning and sagging, fences all down, fields grown over with weeds and brush; what I'd call "a real country charmer!". Well, he'd set in to working the place, getting it straightened back up and whipped into shape and had been pretty much keeping to himself while he did it. Finally after a month or so, the local preacher dropped by to invite him to a Sunday service. Well, the preacher drops in and finds the guy out working in the fields. They stand there and talk over this and that. Finally, preacher looks around and takes it all in, The house had been straightened up a bit, the lawn mown, the fences tightened back up, the barn was looking good, Fields all clipped and the brush gone. He says "My my, it sure is a wonder what you and the Lord have done with this place!" The farmer never bats an eye and says, "Yeah it is! And you should have seen it when He was a' workin' it by Himself!"
