Is to be ready to play in it! We bought these skis last winter and ended up with record NO snow! We're ready to play, let's see if there's still a glacier on Mt. Hood next summer!

Obviously, just like one can prevent rain by taking an umbrella along, right Barb?
Well, I do not really need any snow yet, even though I always enjoy it, because we still have a lot of stuff growing in the plots and we are still harvesting vegetables .

I think the best way to prevent snow is to buy a sled or a snowplow :)

In Iowa they didn't have a way to prevent snow. On the Weather Channel I saw that they were digging themselves out of snow in Cedar Falls, and I guess, that also was true for Cedar Rapids, although that's a bit further south, right, Joe?

Yes, Friday night we had between 6-10 inches of snow, almost all of which has now melted. Yes, Cedar Rapids is a little south of Cedar Falls. I drove to Des Moines Friday and returned Saturday and saw a lot of cars, pickups and semis in the ditches.
Rain tomorrow with temps in the upper 40s and low 50s.
