There is a Yard Hitch setup listed for sale somewhat local. From the pictures it appears to be the fore cart with tongue and the tow behind hydraulic 3 point cart, the hydraulics are electric powered no PTO. It is listed as being essentially new, only used a couple times.

What do you guys think something like this is worth?

Thanks,

Todd

I don't know what it would be worth. I would like to have one I forget what they cost before they quit making them. I would like more info on it if you don't buy it.

The yard hitch sold for $3500 and I think the fore cart he made for them was around $600> I have had one for several years but I use a Pioneer cart.

Todd .... I forgot to give you my opinion of a price for that yard hitch, The best I can say is whatever you are willing to give and what that person is willing to take is the worth of it. They are real handy for a lot of things but not to good for big heavy round bales. The fellow that built them had bales weighing in the 700 lb range and the bales around here are 1200 and up. It has the power to lift them but you better have some weight on the fore cart or it will lift you and the cart way up in the air. I welded a big pipe filled with lead under the axle, it weighs 400 lbs. When you do get them raised up they are dangerous as the wheel base is to narrow and you can flop it over. They work good with everything else.

T. Nichols,

Thanks for the responses. That is what I was figuring price wise. I haven't seen it yet I am trying to decide what I want to offer for it..

KC,

You asked for the information if I didn't buy it. The listing disappeared just after my last post last year. I figured he sold it but it has re appeared so here is the link.
