Joe, or others,
On the July page for the Mule calendar, there is a 'chuck wagon race' going on with some rubber tired oversized go-karts. My two chuck wagons are wooden wheeled farm wagons with chuck boxes. One is a box from before WWII, used on the north side of the Pine Ridge Rez. I ate many meals off that fold down table.

What's with the go-kart race??

God bless

Harvesting garlic like crazy.

Hi Mike. I’m not sure exactly why they call them chuck wagon races instead of something else except that the vehicles sort of resemble chuckwagons. They are certainly not loaded for a cattle drive. Wikipedia has some interesting history on the sport: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chuckwagon_racing
