we are in a snow storm now viability 1/4-1/2 mile 3" snow on the ground now and more coming. it rained last nite about 9 until it started to snow. I don't have all my hay moved in yet to busy driving the trucK to do my own work so I will have to feed the cows hay for a while. Hope everyone was ready for this snow, because it is here now and we can't send it back for a better time.

K.C. we had a snow storm here a week ago and roads then were really bad, during the blizzard the visibility was less than 1/10 of a mile. Several hundred accidents occurred, because people do not want to adjust their speed until they are forced to. The next day even major roads were still snow-packed with ice underneath. While lay drivers are stupid enough to risk their own and other people's property, health and lives, I do not understand why semi-truck drivers believe they are invincible and then you find the jack-knifed!

I have though about how to explain, if it feels good you will run with it. I have seen it when you were running on snow pack and ice and it did not feel slick, you knew it was. You just did not do anything quick and it worked out OK for you. Other people have accidents not me mind set. Just remember I'm 75' long 80000 lbs it takes me 2 football lengths to stop in good conditions, When I break traction and start to slide whatever I hit I'm going to hit hard. I know that is not always right but you feel like that
