Following is a list, compiled by Sam Moore, of the equipment displayed at this year's show. It is listed in alphabetical order by vendor.We have peppered the list with some photos Sam took at the event for cosmetic purposes. Those photos may or may not reflect the actual equipment listed in the adjacent text.

This year, 70 (50 last year) entities brought about 213 (137 in 2010) pieces of equipment, not including an uncounted number of basic fore carts and wagons.

Balers – A new Holland BR7050 round baler was powered by a Sunset 60HP PTO Cart.
A New Holland 450 round baler performed behind a 75HP PTO cart from Pioneer Equipment.
Mower – A 9 foot New Holland 7220 disc mower was powered by a Blank 55HP PTO cart behind four Belgian horses.

A.K. WELDING – 371 Kocher Road, Elizabethville, PA 17023 – (717) 362-9952.

Forecarts – A.K. basic fore carts have hand lever steering and the platform is cushioned on the axle by an air bag on each side. A regular tire valve and pressure gauge allow the amount of air to be varied according to load. An A.K. cart was used to pull an E.L.S. liquid manure spreader.

PTO Fore Cart – A ground drive PTO cart with two speeds and hydraulic brakes. Said to be capable of running a rotary rake in low gear, and a four star tedder in high. Was used on the 10 foot kicker style tedder from Stoltzfus Welding.

Mower – The TM800 Vermeer Rebel disc mower cuts a 10’6” swath and was demoed behind a Pioneer PTO cart and four Belgians.
Rake – The Vermeer VR1224 V-rake has 12 raking wheels and can be adjusted to rake a swath from 20 to 25 feet wide. The rake was pulled by four Percheron horses on a White Horse Machine 621 cart with 12 volt hydraulics.
Tedder – Vermeer TE170 4-spinner hay tedder – pulled by a team of spotted draft horses on an I & J 35HP PTO cart.

Fore Carts – Beiler’s makes a standard basic fore cart with hand lever steering. One was used with Beiler’s potato plow.
Potato Plow – A hand lift potato plow that mounts on the drawbar of a basic fore cart. It was demonstrated on a Beiler’s cart pulled by a team of Fiords.

Sprayers – 150 gallon produce sprayer with a 25 foot hydraulic side boom worked in head-high sweet corn behind a team of Fiords on a Cedar Hill Welding fore cart.
A small sprayer with a 10 foot boom and 40 gallon tank sprayed potatoes while being pulled by a small white mule.

PTO Fore Carts – A 2-wheeled PTO cart with torsion axles and a 55HP Deutz diesel engine was used to power a New Holland 7220 disc mower in the field.
  A 4-wheeled PTO cart, also with torsion axles, along with a 100HP   turbocharged Deutz diesel engine   and both 540 and 1000 rpm PTO was used to pull the ELS liquid manure transfer pump through the field demonstration.

Fore Carts – Cedar Hill makes a basic fore cart with hand lever steering, an offset seat, and an aluminum pole. The carts were used in a number of the field demonstrations.
Harrow/Roller – A 4-foot spring tine harrow with a trailing basket roller is attached to the fore cart drawbar with two pins. Demonstrated in the produce field on a Cedar Hill fore cart behind three Fiord horses.
Ripper/Chisel – A 10 foot S-tine ripper-chisel plow with 12 volt hydraulic lift was demonstrated behind eight mules on a White Horse basic fore cart.
Transplanter – A no till transplanter with disc openers and 12 volt hydraulic lift was hitched to a Cedar Hill fore cart. I didn’t see it demonstrated.

Fore Cart – A light duty forecart that was demonstrated pulling the Conestoga 25 bu. Spreader and a GroundBuster 5 foot lime spreader.
Liquid Manure Spreaders – An 1100 gallon, ground drive, bottom discharge machine behind a Nickle Mine fore cart and six mules.
A 1300 gallon tank spreader with a pump powered by a 13HP Honda engine and a top mounted fan type discharge head was pulled by four Belgian mules hitched to a Mountain View fore cart.
Manure Spreaders – A 25-bushel ground drive machine that was pulled by a pony on a Conestoga light duty forecart.
The Conestoga 50-bushel PTO spreader was powered by a 27HP PTO cart from Pioneer Equipment

Fore Cart – A Light duty fore cart was used to pull the 25 bushel E-Z spreader.
A basic fore cart with a spring-mounted buggy seat. I didn’t see it in action.
Manure Spreader – A rebuilt New Idea #17 spreader was pulled by a team of American Cream horses on a Pioneer forecart.   

CROSS ROADS CULTIVATORS – 1663 Noble Road, Kirkwood, PA 17536

Cultivator – A rebuilt McCormick-Deering No. 4 one row cultivator with a liquid fertilizer tank was pulled through 6 inch high corn by a team of spotted draft horses.

Disc Harrows – D & D makes both 4 and 6 foot GroundBuster double disc harrows with rubber tired transport wheels, 12 volt electric lift and trailing roller and steel grading mat.
The 6 foot model was hitched to an E-Z Trail fore cart and pulled by four Percherons.
The 4-foot disc was displayed but not demoed.
Lime Spreader – GroundBuster pulverized lime spreaders are available in both 5 and 6 foot widths.
A pony on a Conestoga light duty fore cart pulled the 5 foot version during the produce demonstrations.
The 6 foot spreader was on display but not demoed.

Baler – A John Deere 458 round baler performed behind a 4-wheeled PTO cart with a 65HP Deutz diesel engine from Miller’s Repairs, that was pulled by four Belgian horses.
Rake – The Kuhn GA 4221 GTH 13 ½ foot rotary rake was demoed behind the I & J general duty ground drive PTO cart and a team of Percheron horses.
Tedders – A Kuhn GF 502 THA four spinner tedder was powered by the I&J 35HP PTO cart pulled by a team of Belgian horses.

D. H. WELDING, LLC – 457 Valley Road, Quarryville PA 17566 –

Chisel Plow – A 3-tine chisel plow with a battery operated hydraulic pump to raise the tines. Six spotted draft horses on a basic forecart from Cedar Hill Welding demonstrated the machine.
Manure Spreaders – A model 85G (85-bushel capacity) ground drive 4-wheel spreader that was pulled by a team of Belgians.  
Rake – D.H. Welding furnished a Pequea TR-10 Turbo V-rake with a 12 volt hydraulic pump mounted on the tongue. It was pulled by four Belgians and a Nickle Mine fore cart.

Bale Fork – A twin-tine, single round or large square bale carrier with a 12 volt hydraulic system for raising the tines. Demoed behind two Belgians on a Mullet fore cart.
Fore Cart – A light duty cart was used on East End’s utility trailer.
Trailer – A 2-wheeled utility trailer cart with wooden side and end racks was pulled through the produce demo by two Fiords on the East End light duty fore cart.

E.L.S. MANUFACTURING, LLC – 5270 Amish Road, Kinzers, PA 17535 –

Drag Hose Spreader – With a hose between this spreader and a tank or other source of liquid manure, this engine powered device is used to spread the stuff on a field. It was pulled through the display area by four Percherons on a Nickle Mine fore cart and was later seen actually spreading liquid from a parked tanker.
Hose Reel – A reel for storing, paying out, and rewinding liquid manure hose. Has its own engine to power the reel. I didn’t see it demoed.
Liquid Manure Spreaders – The E.L.S. 1100 gallon, ground drive machine was pulled by four Belgian horses on a forecart by A.K. Welding.
A 1300 gallon tank spreader with an engine driven pump was operated by four Belgians on a Cedar Hill fore cart.
Round Bale Mover – Model RBW2 bale mover is designed to pick up bales while travelling in the same direction as the baler. It has a chain conveyor to move bales to the rear and a hydraulic, side-mounted fork for loading. It was pulled in the field by four Percheron mules on a Cedar Hill basic fore cart.
Transfer Pump – A heavy duty PTO driven pump for transferring liquid manure from one location to another. Not demonstrated in action, pulled through the display by a team of Belgians on a PTO cart by Aaron Blank.

ESCH HAY EQUIPMENT – 1324 Village Road, Strasburg, PA 17579 – (717) 687-0321.

Baler – A New Holland 276 square baler with a mounted Briggs & Stratton 31HP engine was pulled by four Belgians on a basic fore cart from JS Welding. The bales were pushed into a trailing hay basket from E-Z Trail in Arthur, IL.
Tedder – A 2-Star 4-spinner tedder   that was powered by a Pioneer 27HP PTO cart behind a team of two Percheron horses.

ESCH MANUFACTURING – 2210 Creek Hill Road, Lancaster, PA 17601 –

Grass and Seed Drills – The Esch Model 5507 ground drive no-till drill plants 15 rows with a row spacing of 5.5 inches. A 5.5HP Honda engine powered the hydraulics on the demonstration machine that was pulled by four Belgian horses on a Strack Welding fore cart.
The Esch Model 5503 is similar to its larger brother except it plants 7 rows and was pulled by a team of Belgians on a White Horse hydraulic fore cart.
Hay Crimper – A 9 foot pull-behind machine with steel crimping rolls, it was demonstrated behind a sickle-bar mower from Joe’s Machinery.
Another 9 foot crimper was demonstrated on already mown hay behind a heavy-duty I&J ground drive PTO cart pulled by four mules.
Sickle-bar Mower and Hay Crimper – This mower conditioner combination with its own engine, has a 9-foot cutterbar and cuts a swath while conditioning the previous swath. It can also be used as a stand-alone mower or as a conditioner only. It was pulled by three Belgian horses.

Fertilizer Spreader – A funnel-type rotary spreader built on a two-wheeled trailer with a roller chain drive from the axle to operate the spinner. The funnel holds 9 bushels of seed or 900 pounds of fertilizer and spreading width is from 20 to 55 feet. A team of Percherons on an E-Z Trail fore cart pulled the spreader.

Manure Spreaders – A 25-bushel model was demonstrated behind a mini draft pony on a light duty fore cart from Country Machinery.
E-Z’s 35 bushel spreader was pulled by a team of paint ponies on a White Horse fore cart.
A 75-bushel, 4-wheeled spreader was put through its paces by a team of Brabant horses.

E-Z TRAIL MFG. – 9575 Salt Creek Road, Fredericksburg, OH 44627 –

Cultivator – A Hogback 5-tine, one horse, walk behind cultivator that was put to work behind a Haflinger.
Fertilizer Spreader – A Vicon Pendulum spreader on a McCormick-Deering mower gear.  The pendulum assures an extremely accurate spreading rate across the entire spreading pattern and it will accurately spread lime, fertilizer or seeds. Pulled by a team of Fiords on an E-Z Trail forecart.
Forecarts – E-Z Trail makes a line of pony, Haflinger, and heavy duty basic forecarts, several of which were used throughout the field demonstrations.
Harrows – E-Z Trail offers a 2-section spike tooth harrow that was pulled by four Percheron horses. 
Harrow Mulcher – An 8-foot machine with a spring tine harrow in front, followed by a basket roller, with an operator's platform, safety rail and seat above the roller. The machine was pulled by four Belgian horses.
A 4-foot version was used in the produce demos, pulled by a team of Fiords.
Mower – E-Z Trail makes a one-horse mower that they call an "Alley Mower." The machine is designed to mow the "alleys" between rows of plants in vineyards, berry patches, and the like. It has either a 30'' or 48" front mounted cutter bar that can be moved to a side mounted position. I missed seeing it demonstrated.
Mulch Layer – The Hogback raised bed machine that first lays a drip irrigation line and then puts down a continuous strip of 4-foot wide plastic mulch, covering the edges with dirt to keep it in place. Pulled by a team of three Fiords on a fore cart from Cedar Hill Welding.
Planter – A 2-row planter using John Deere 7000 plateless planting units with a seat, platform and safety guard at the front, a spring assisted hand lift, and an optional liquid fertilizer attachment was demonstrated behind a team of white Percheron horses.
Sprayer – A Model 5005 "Xtenda Boom" produce sprayer with a 100 gallon tank, a 6.5HP Honda powered pump and a hand winch to raise and lower the side mounted boom was pulled by a team of Fiords.  
Transplanter – A team of Fiords on an E-Z Trail cart pulled the Hogback 100 gallon water wheel transplanter which makes a row of holes in the plastic mulch and the ground and puts water in each hole. Workers riding on low seats at the rear insert a plant seedling into each hole.

Corn Picker – Fairview exhibited a rebuilt New Idea one-row corn picker, with sheller and a 31HP Briggs engine to power the machine, as well to provide hydraulic lift. The picker wasn’t demonstrated as the corn wasn’t quite that far along.

FARM BOY EQUIPMENT – 12615 County Road 30, Middlebury IN 46540 –

PTO Carts – Farm Boy makes a line of 4-wheeled PTO carts with foot pedal operated power steering on the rear wheels, brakes, hydraulic outlets and 540 RPM PTO. Available in 20 to 120HP sizes, the 64HP version was used to power a Vermeer disc mower in the field.
A 118HP model was used with a Farm Boy 3-point tiller chassis and a 93-inch Maschio tiller.
Tiller – Farm Boy furnished a 93-inch Maschio tiller that was used with the Farm Boy tiller chassis and 118HP PTO cart, behind four Belgian mules.
Tiller Chassis – This machine is used with a tiller and a PTO forecart to provide hydraulic lift capabilities, as well as hydraulic tines that raise and lower with the tiller and keep the tiller from pushing the rig forward into the horses.

Plows – Farmer Brown specializes in refurbishing and selling old horse drawn plows and plow parts. He demonstrated the following:
A refurbished Leroy walking plow was demoed being pulled by a team of spotted draft horses.
A team of Belgians pulled a rebuilt John Deere 2-way sulky plow.
Logging Arch – Brown also makes logging carts and other equipment.

FISHER'S SPRAYER MFG. – 25 Old Leacock Road, Ronks PA 17572 –

Sprayers – A couple of Belgians on a fore cart by Strack Welding  pulled a 200 gallon field sprayer with an engine driven pump and 30 foot boom.
Also demonstrated was a 200 gallon produce sprayer, with a hydraulic 20-foot side boom that can be adjusted to from 4' to 6' height and an engine powered pump. This sprayer is ideal for sweetcorn, tomatoes, or tobacco and was demoed behind a team of Fiord horses on a fore cart from General Repair.
A small, 15 gallon wheelbarrow sprayer, with a battery powered pump was used with the 4 foot booms upright between chest-high tomato plants in a plastic tunnel enclosure.

GAP HILL FARM WAGON – 5549 Lincoln Highway, Gap, PA 17527 –

Tedder – Morro 17 foot 4 Star spinner tedder with a mounted Honda engine worked behind a White Horse Machine 620 basic fore cart pulled by a team of Belgians.

GATEWAY MFG. – 7836 E. Colonville Road, Clare MI 48617 –

PTO Cart – Gateway furnished a PTO cart with a Kohler 38HP engine and a sliding axle to adjust for tongue weight. The machine was used to power a Pequea 175 bushel manure spreader and a Pequea rotary hay rake.

GENERAL REPAIR SHOP – 63 Old Leacock Road, Ronks PA 17572 –

Fore Carts – Basic fore carts with hand lever steering and brakes were used to pull an E.L.S. liquid manure spreader and the Fieldmaster rotary hay rake.
Finish Mower – A 5 1/2-foot pull type rotary deck mower with three 22-inch blades driven by a 24HP Honda engine, although I didn’t see it demonstrated.

GROFFDALE – 194 S. Groffdale Road, Leola PA 17540 – (717) 656-7657.

Disc Harrows – The Model M12, 4-foot transport disc with an operator's seat, a hand crank to raise the disc to its transport position, and a trailing drag, was uses in the produce field behind the Shire/Clydesdale team.
Also in the produce field, A Groffdale Model F16, 3-foot, one horse drag disc was pulled by a single Belgian horse.
A rebuilt John Deere 7-foot KBA double disc harrow was pulled by four Belgian mules on a Strack fore cart.
Finish Mower – Groffdale makes a 6-foot finish mower with a Honda engine that was demonstrated behind a team of Brabants on a Strack fore cart.

HERSCHBERGER’S REPAIR – 1755 County Road 2000N., Arthur, IL 61911 –

Tine Harrow – Mr. Hershberger takes an Einback 3-point spring tine weeder and converts it for use with horses. The machine was pulled by a team of spotted draft horses on a White Horse basic fore cart.

HILLTOP MACHINE – 10515 U.S. 20W, Shipshewana IN 46565 – (260) 768-9196.

Combination Rake & Tedder – The Kingman 6-Way DR520 is a versatile, 2-rotor machine with its own engine, that can be converted to ted and rake hay in several different ways. Pulled by a team of Belgians on a Pioneer basic fore cart.

Plow – Oliver 4-bottom tractor plow converted for use with horses.

Baler – I&J furnished a used John Deere 347 square baler that was powered by I&J’s heavy duty ground drive PTO cart behind four Belgians.
Cultivators –   1 Row Walking – A five shovel walk behind garden cultivator working behind a Belgian horse and between the rows of plastic mulch.
1 Row Riding – A small, five shovel riding garden cultivator for one horse The machine was demonstrated behind a white mule.
Wide – A team consisting of a Shire and a Clydesdale pulled this 2-row cultivator that is modified to cultivate both sides of a 4-foot plastic mulch row.
4 Row – Worked in standing corn behind five mules.
Fertilizer Spreader – I&J takes a 3-point Vicon pendulum precision seeder and mounts it on a ground drive chassis. It was demoed behind two spotted draft horses on an I&J basic fore cart.
Fore Carts – Basic – The I&J fore cart can be equipped with brakes and steering, as well as the I&J 3-point adapter or a 13HP PTO unit.
Hay Tedder – A Galfre GTS-520 PTO driven 4-basket rotary tedder that takes a 17-foot swath was powered by an I&J standard duty ground drive PTO cart pulled by two spotted draft horses.
Green Crop Roller – Intended to roll down and crush cover crops, leaving behind a chopped mulch layer which can be readily planted through with a no-till planter. I don’t believe the 8' roller was demonstrated, but a smaller, 4-foot tandem model was, hitched to an I&J basic fore cart with 12 volt hydraulics.
Ground Drive PTO Carts – The heavy duty model was used to power a 9 foot Esch hay crimper, as well as a John Deere 347 square baler.
The general duty model was demonstrated powering an I&J 7 foot PTO mower, as well as a Galfre two spinner hay tedder. A general duty PTO cart with 12 volt hydraulics was used on a Kuhn rotary rake. 
Misc. – 3-point adapter – A hand lift 3-point hitch that bolts onto a basic forecart and permits the use of small 3-point implements. The adapter was used on an I&J fore cart to demonstrate the I&J one bottom plow, potato plow, and 4 foot harrow during the produce demonstrations.
13HP PTO and live hydraulic adapter – Can be mounted on I&J, Pioneer, and some other fore carts. One mounted on an I&J fore cart was used to power a Claas rotary rake.
Mowers – Trailer mower – A 7-foot cut pto mower with two knives that reciprocate against each other, preventing plugging and giving a clean cut. I&J's general duty, ground driven PTO cart, pulled by a couple of spotted drafts, provided the power for the mower.
A 9 foot I&J mower with a mounted engine was demonstrated, along with a Smucker crimper and a General Repair cart, being pulled by three Belgian horses.
Plows – Walking – A 10-inch walking plow was pulled by a team of Halflinger horses.
3 Point – A 3-point one-bottom, 12-inch plow was demonstrated on the I&J fore cart with 3-point adapter behind a team of Fiords.
Potato Plows – A 3-point potato plow that digs under a potato row, lifts the tubers and leaves them on top of the ground. The machine was demonstrated on I&J's fore cart with a 3-point
adapter, behind a team of Fiords.
A similar walk-behind potato plow was also used to lift potatoes behind Fiords.
Produce Harrow – A 3-point, spring tine harrow, 4 feet wide with a trailing basket roller, was mounted on the I&J 3-point fore cart and pulled by a team of white Percherons.
PTO Cart –A 35HP gasoline model with hydraulic brakes, steering and stabilizer was demonstrated powering a Vermeer hay tedder.
3-Point Hitch Tool Carrier – I&J makes a 3-point hitch cart that can be pulled behind a basic fore cart and that has a 12 volt hydraulic lift. The carrier was used with the 1-row potato planter and a White Horse basic fore cart.
3-Point PTO Tool Carrier – Used behind a PTO cart to allow the use of 3-point PTO driven implements. The carrier was used with an I&J 35HP PTO cart and the Rain-Flo plastic mulch layer.

IVA MANUFACTURING – 175 Churchtown Road, Narvon, PA 17555 –

Sprayers – The IVA 150 gallon field sprayer with a 28' manual boom and foam markers was pulled by two spotted draft ponies.
IVA had a 300 gallon field sprayer with a 45' hydraulic fold booms, foam markers and a small gas engine to power the pump. I missed the field demo.
A 15 gallon produce sprayer that could be pulled through greenhouses or small plots by hand or a mini horse. The pump is battery powered, the booms are each 4 feet long and can be used in either the horizontal or vertical position.
A 200 gallon PTO sprayer with a 25 foot hydraulic-fold side boom was demonstrated behind a 25HP PTO cart from Sunset Creations and a team of one Clydesdale and one Shire.
An IVA 55 gallon, high clearance sprayer with a 15 foot manual side boom and pulled by a Belgian horse came next.  
A 200 gallon sprayer with an engine driven pump and a manually controlled 25 foot boom was pulled by two white Percheron horses on a Mullet fore cart.

JOE’S MACHINERY – 259 Radcliff Road, Willow Street, PA 17584 –

Mower – A 3-point New Holland 7-foot mower mounted on a wheeled frame with a 31HP engine to drive the sickle bar and provide hydraulic lift, the mower also has a rear PTO to drive a trailed hay crimper. The machine was demoed behind three Percherons and pulling an Esch hay crimper.
Transplanter – Joe’s Machinery took a mechanical planting unit manufactured by Mechanical Planter Co. 1150 Central Avenue, Holland, MI 49423, and mounted it on wheeled frame with racks for the seedlings, two seats for the attendants, and a seat for the driver. The machine was demonstrated being pulled by a team of Belgians.
The following implements were displayed by Joe’s Machinery at their stand, but not demoed.
Silage & Haylage Equipment – Several New Holland choppers that have been modified to chop and blow forage crops into a silo, or to fill ag bags.  
Skeleton Elevator – A 28 foot elevator with its own engine.

Round Bale Wrapper – The Model 250 inline wrapper is hydraulically driven with a 13HP Honda engine and will wrap either large square bales up to 5 1/2 feet, or round bales.

PTO Cart – Knepp’s had a 4-wheeled PTO cart on the display field, but I didn’t see it used. It had 4-wheel steering and a Deutz diesel, air-cooled engine of 50 or 60HP.

Tiller – A 6-foot Caroni tiller that was used with the Yoder 3-point PTO trailer and a Pioneer PTO cart.
Kutz Eq. had some other implements at their booth that weren’t demoed, including a Galfre hay tedder, a Caroni finish mower, and a pull-type fertilizer spreader, as well as several trailers.

No Till Mechanical Transplanter – The planting unit is manufactured by RJ Equipment, 75 Industrial Avenue, Blenheim, ON N0P 1A0, Canada – (519) 676-4110. The transplanter was mounted on a Pequea Planter frame with a 200 gallon water tank, disc openers ahead of a ripple coulter, and 12 volt hydraulic lift. Said to be ideal for tobacco and vegetable farmers, and available for loan from the Extension office. I didn’t see it demonstrated.

Fertilizer Spreader – Two mules on a Pioneer basic fore cart pulled the ½ ton spreader with a mounted gas engine to drive the bottom conveyor and the spreading spinner.
Manure Spreaders – A pony on a light duty cart from Strack Welding pulled a 15 bushel Lancaster spreader.
A Model 110, 100 bushel spreader was demonstrated behind a White Horse basic fore cart and four Belgian horses.

Mower – A Reese 2400HL twin drum mower with an 8-foot cut was demoed behind a Pioneer 45HP PTO cart pulled by four Percheron horses.
Rake – A Fieldmaster FM1100 rotary side delivery rake, powered by its own Honda engine, performed behind a General Repair basic fore cart and a team of Percheron mules.

Manure Spreaders – Millcreek makes a line of small manure spreaders.
The Model 15 holds about 7.5 bushels, is ground drive, and was demonstrated behind a
Team of mini ponies on a light duty cart of unknown make.
A Model 57 is a 45 bushel ground drive spreader and was pulled by a draft pony on a Pioneer fore cart.
The Model 77 is a PTO driven machine with a capacity of 72 cu. Ft. and is also available in ground drive. A PTO version was demoed behind an I&J standard duty ground drive PTO cart and a team of draft ponies.

Bale Mover – A two-wheeled frame with an engine and hydraulic pump at the front and at the rear, two rounded grabber jaws that squeeze the bale and raise it onto the frame. It can carry one bale on the frame and another in the jaws, and was pulled by two Percherons on a Beiler’s basic fore cart.
Bale Wrappers – The Master Wrap is intended to compress and wrap small square bales.
The Economy 4509 round bale wrapper is a continuous in line machine that wraps a string of round bales, moving itself along the ground as the string gets longer.

PTO Fore Cart – A 4-wheeled PTO cart with a 65HP Deutz diesel engine, hydraulic 4-wheel steering. Powered the John Deere 458 round baler pulled by four Belgian horses.

Tedder – A Claas Liner 350T rotary hay rake was demonstrated behind an I&J basic fore cart equipped with the I&J 13HP PTO attachment and drawn by two Percheron ponies.

Fore Cart – Mt. View makes a basic fore cart which was used to pull the 1300 gallon Conestoga liquid manure spreader in the field demos.

Forecart – Mullet’s makes a line of basic fore carts, one of which was to pull the Betterway 300 gallon field sprayer, while another was used on the round bale fork from East End Welding.
Mowers – A rebuilt McCormick-Deering No. 9 mower with a 6 foot cutter bar and a dolly wheel was put to work behind two spotted draft horses.
Sprayer – A Betterway 300 gallon field sprayer with a 36' boom and a Honda engine to power the pump was pulled by a team of Belgians on a Mullet basic fore cart.
200 gallon Betterway field sprayer with 34 foot booms and engine powered pump was drawn by two Belgian horses.

Cultivators – A 7-tine walk behind garden cultivator was demonstrated in the produce field being drawn by a pony.
An even smaller, 5-tine cultivator was pulled by a mini horse.
Fore Carts – Several basic fore carts from Nickle Mine were used in field demos; one pulled a Conestoga 1100 gallon liquid manure spreader, and another a mower from Joe’s Machinery & an Esch hay crimper.

Mulch Layers – Flatbed – Convertible between pull type or 3-point, this layer will handle either 3 or 4 foot wide plastic mulch, as well as a drip irrigation tube. Angled discs at the rear cover the edges of the mulch with dirt to hold it in place. A mixed team of a Shire and a Clydesdale pulled it.
Raised Bed – Similar to the previous machine except that it has discs in front that create a 3-inch raised bed, upon which the drip line is laid, and over which the plastic is stretched. The machine was demonstrated behind a team of Belgian mules on a Mullet fore cart.
Mulch Pickup Reel – A 3-point machine with a hydraulically driven reel, that's designed for rolling up used plastic mulch after it’s no longer needed. IT was demonstrated on a 3-point PTO cart from Sunset Creations behind the Shire and Clydesdale team.
Transplanters – A steel wheeled regular water wheel transplanter with a 100 gallon water tank was demonstrated behind a team of Belgian mules on a Pioneer basic forecart.
Nolt's also showed a 200 gallon no-till transplanter with disc openers and a wavy coulter ahead of the water wheel. I didn’t see it demoed.

PEACHEY, BENJAMIN L. – 698 Schoolhouse Road, Belleville, PA 17004. The Peachey implements were furnished by Joe’s Machinery, 259 Radcliff Road, Willow Street, PA 17584 – (717) 464-1043 between 8:00 and 8:30AM.

Culti-Mulchers – A 10 foot model was pulled in the field by six Belgian mules.
The 4 foot version was demonstrated in the produce field behind two Belgian mules.

Mower – A rebuilt 6 foot cut McCormick-Deering No. 9 mower was demonstrated with a team of mules.

Hay Rakes – A team of Percherons on a 35HP PTO cart from Pioneer Equipment powered the Pequea Haymaker HR930 9' rotary hay rake.
Another HR930 was pulled by two mules on a Gateway 38HP PTO cart.
A Pequea TR8 Turbo wheel rake with 12 volt hydraulics was demonstrated behind a Nickle Mine basic fore cart and four Belgian horses.
Hay Tedders – The TT4000 4 Star Turbo Tedder, a 4-rotor machine that teds an 18-foot swath, did its thing behind a Pioneer 35HP PTO cart pulled by two Belgian horses.
A Pequea 710 ground drive Fluffer Tedders operated behind a White Horse basic fore cart and a team of Belgians.
Manure Spreader – The Pequea 175P (175 bushel) PTO spreader was powered by a Gateway 38HP PTO cart behind four Percheron horses.

Corn Planters – Mr. Stoltzfus takes John Deere tractor planters and modifies them for use   with horses.
A one-row, no-till pumpkin planter was there, but I didn’t see it demonstrated.
A 2-row sweet corn planter took the produce field behind a pair of Percheron horses on a 25HP PTO cart from Sunset Creations.
 A rebuilt John Deere 4-row 7000 planter with 12 volt hydraulic lift and foam markers was demoed behind six mules on a Strack basic fore cart.

Tiller – Furnished a King Kutter 60 inch rotary tiller used in the produce demonstrations mounted on a 25HP Sunset Creations PTO cart.

Forecarts –  Basic – Pioneer makes a full line of light and heavy duty basic forecarts and a number of them were in use throughout the field demos.
Hydraulic – Pioneer equips a basic forecart with a 12-volt battery, an electric hydraulic pump and the necessary valves to provide remote hydraulic capabilities. The cart was used on a Shipshe 8’ trailer cultimulcher with hydraulic lift.
PTO – All Pioneer PTO forecarts are equipped with hydraulic brakes, steering, hitch stabilizer and remote outlets.
The 27, 35, and 45HP PTO carts were used to power various PTO machines throughout both days.  
The 75HP 2-wheeled diesel cart was used to power the 6-foot Caroni tiller on a Yoder 3-point cart.
A 75HP  4-wheeled PTO cart powered by a Deutz diesel engine was used to power a New Holland Roll-Belt 450 round baler.
Harrows – New this year is a harrow cart that can be used with either spike or spring tooth harrow, allowing the driver to ride instead of trudging along behind.
Spike Tooth – A single 5 foot section was pulled by a mule in the produce field.
Spring Tooth – A 8-foot, 2-section spring tooth harrow equipped with the optional Pioneer Crumbler Roller feature and a harrow cart was pulled by four Belgian horses.
In the produce field, a single section with the crumbler was pulled by a Lineback Shorthorn Ox.
Homesteader – Pioneer showed a prototype 2-wheeled machine, resembling the old 1-row, 2-horse cultivators, that is versatile in that it is arranged so a line of quick change tools, including a 10 inch plow, a potato plow, a spring tooth harrow, a one-row seeder and a one-row cultivator. The Homesteader with disc harrow attachment was demonstrated behind a pair Fiords in the produce field and a team of Percherons in the main field demos.
Misc. – Back Blade – A 6-foot back blade mounted on a Pioneer fore cart was pulled by a team of American Cream horses.
Dump Cart – A 2-wheeled dump cart with a wooden box was pulled by a team of Brabant horses on a Pioneer basic cart.
Potato Plow – An attachment, complete with hand lift, for the Pioneer forecart consisting of a V-furrow opener with a series of tines behind that digs a row of potatoes and leaves them in a windrow on top of the ground. The machine was pulled by a team of mules.


Sled Runner Attachment – A Pioneer fore cart with the wheels removed and the runners attached was pulled by a team of Percherons.
Work Sled – The Pioneer sled was used behind a Lineback Shorthorn ox to demonstrate scattering manure by hand.
Another sled with sides and a seat was demonstrated behind a team of Brabant horses.
Plows – Walking – A 12-inch, right hand plow was used in the manpower demonstration. 20 men on a long rope pulled the plow with ease and one after another dropped off until 9 were left when the plow stalled.
Sulky – Hand Lift – A 14-inch right hand frameless sulky with a Kverneland bottom was pulled
by a three spotted draft horses.
Foot Lift – A 14-inch right hand sulky plow with a foot operated, spring assisted lift and Oliver
bottom, was behind three Belgian horses.
A second footlift sulky with a Kverneland bottom was pulled by four draft ponies, hitched two and two.
Gang – A team of six mules headed up a Pioneer 12-inch gang plow with a 12 volt hydraulic lift.  
A Pioneer 14-inch gang plow was demonstrated behind six Percherons.
  Wagons – A 3-ton flatbed was demonstrated in the produce field behind a team of Percherons.
Several other Pioneer wagons were used to move people between the parking lot and the show.

A 3-foot wide model pulled by a white mule, along with a 4-foot version behind a team of Haflingers, were demonstrated in the produce field.
A five foot, single section model was pulled by a spotted draft team.
An 8-foot, two section version performed behind seven Belgian horses.
An 8-foot trailer type model with hydraulic lift was hitched to a Pioneer hydraulic fore cart, pulled by four Belgian horses.

Cultivators – A 2-row, 3-wheeled cultivator worked in standing corn behind three mules.
A 2-row machine was modified and used to cultivate both sides of a strip of plastic mulch, also pulled by two mules.

PTO Fore Carts – Sunset makes several models of PTO carts with air bag suspension.
A 25 HP with 3-point was used to power a 5-foot King Kutter tiller and to provide hydraulics for the Pequea sweetcorn planter.
Another 25HP with Subaru engine and 3-point was used on the potato digger and an IVA hydraulic boom sprayer.
60HP with Lombard diesel engine was used to power the New Holland 7540 round baler.

Baler – The Vermeer 5410 round baler was powered by a Pioneer 75 HP PTO cart pulled by four Belgian horses.
Grain Drill – A 10 foot, Haybuster 107 no-till grass and grain drill, pulled by six mules on a White Horse Machine 621 fore cart with 12 volt hydraulics.
Mower-Conditioner – A Vermeer DiscPro MC840 mower-conditioner pulled by four Belgians on a Farmer Boy 64HP, 4-wheeled PTO cart.

Potato Digger – A 3-point, one row potato digger with adjustable blade and cleaning bed angle. The chain cleaning conveyor is driven by a PTO hydraulic motor and the cleaned spuds are dropped on top of the ground. It was demoed on a 3-point 25HP PTO cart from Sunset Creations that was drawn by the Shire/Clydesdale team.
Potato Planter – A 3-point, one row, cup type potato planter with ground drive. The machine was demoed on an I&J 3-point tool carrier behind a White Horse basic fore cart and two mules.

Forecarts – Basic – WH makes a line of basic forecarts that includes heavy duty and Haflinger sized versions. Several White Horse basic carts were used during the field demonstrations.
Model 627 Hydraulic – A ground driven hydraulic pump, a pressure accumulator   system, and the necessary hand valves provide hydraulic power to four quick connect couplers to operate cylinders on towed implements.
Model 500 Uni-Frame (Hydraulic Tool Carrier) – A two wheeled trailer with a hydraulic 3-point hitch that's designed to work with the WH hydraulic forecart , allowing the use of category one 3-point implements.
Plows – 712 Sulky – A 14-inch, right hand sulky plow with a Kverneland bottom was demonstrated being pulled by three Percheron horses.
A second 712 sulky with an Oliver bottom was pulled by three Belgian horses.
A new prototype 715 sulky plow was shown this year. It’s a frameless sulky with a leaf spring to allow the bottom to kick back in case of hitting a hidden obstruction. The new plow, with a 14 inch bottom was demonstrated being pulled by three Belgian horses.
Model 410 Hydraulic 2-way – A ground driven hydraulic system provides for lift and reset of tripped bottoms. Was demonstrated behind four Belgian horses hitched two and two.
Model 510 2-bottom Trailer – Designed to be used with the WH Uni-Frame, the plow is 3-point hitch and has the White Horse hydraulic reset feature. The 14-inch, 2-bottom plow with KV bottoms was pulled by eight Belgians on a White Horse hydraulic forecart.
Sub-Soilers –The Model 525 is a trailer type machine with the hydraulic reset feature. A 2-shank model, equipped with a 12 volt hydraulic system, was put through its paces behind a team of twelve draft ponies.
A Model 525 single shank sub-soiler, equipped with a trailing chevron roller, was pulled in the field by eight Belgians on a White Horse hydraulic forecart.

3 Point Trailer Cart – When hitched behind a PTO forecart w/hydraulic capabilities, this tool permits the use of any category 1, 3-point implement, including those that are PTO driven. The cart was used with a Caroni 6 foot tiller and a Pioneer PTO cart.
