bev slipped and fell and broke her left arm almost at the shoulder Tuesday evening so we went to Jeanie Melham Med Center in Broken Bow they decided that it needed to be operated on. she was taken to Grand Island St Joseph hospital at 2 in the morning and operated early in the morning they put 2 pins in it we came home late yesterday (Thursday) so now I'm taking care of her she can't get up by herself (she was walking with a walker before) . Bev Is feeling good happy to be home. Thank you all God Bless You all.

KC,
Sorry for the slow response. We had a thresheree going on so no website checking.
Valerie and I send our prayers for her recovery. Like our doctor says, "As we get older..........". Yup, we get brittle.

Beverly, you get well quickly and know that folks out here care.

God bless,
Mike and Valerie

Heading into our last hay cutting of the year.... we have more than enough now.

KC,
How's Beverly getting on? We hope things are better. I'm undergoing PT now... growing old beats the alternative I guess.

God bless,
Mike and Valerie

Friday she tried to get up by herself & fell split her elbow so we got stitches in that. She learned from that fall she needs help getting up she is moving around with a single hand walker really good. Bev has no pain so that is good

Bev is now almost able to get up by herself. still needs a little help. but can walk with the walker from the bed to the bathroom by herself. so she is improving she got the staples out of her shoulder Saturday the incision looks good no infection the elbow looks good to.

KC,
It's good to hear she's making progress. Balance becomes an issue as we age I am finding out.
It's also good she has a very caring husband...
God bless you all.
Mike

Bev is doing OK the Dr said everything is healing good. Took off the brace and now can move the arm and start to do things with it after 6 weeks of not moving it. We have started the pellet stove the last 4 mornings it was 60 in the house.
