Last night we got 1/4" of rain. it has been foggy the last 2 mornings when the fog clears we have smoke and 90+ temps, the wind has blown enough to keep the tanks almost full. My granddaughter got a team of ponies they are 40" estimate 350 lbs well broke to drive and broke to ride Palomino in color 8-10 years old matched really good size color one is a little more lively than the other. Courtney drove them today while I watched the 2 Great grand children. God Bless you all take care of yourself. I should get the other Solar pump installed tomorrow or Monday.

How wonderful to have grand and great grand children carrying on the traditions. Sounds like a fun little team.

We're looking at over an inch of rain in the next days.

Got the last crop of hay in, it got washed pretty good but most of it dried down in a warm wind. A few started to heat pretty fast and those went right into the piggies.

Trying out the TumbleBug hay hauler. Neat outfit.

God bless,
Keep Col. Brewer in your prayers.

I know that there is not much on here for the last year. We have had 1/4' of rain each week for the last 3 weeks we are doing good as long as we keep getting 1/4" per week I'm to start windrowing in the hills next week should have enough for the cows this winter. We have only had one year with less rain since 2015 than this year so we should make it through this winter. I have plenty of bales to feed if the snow gets deep.

Good morning Dan,
Yes, a tad quiet. Ralph Rice and Klaus Karbaumer and the usual suspects.

Raining right now, light drizzle on the steel roof. Got six new broad breasted Bronze turkey chicks Wednesday. Little peepers, sound nice. Have a problem in the chicken yard outside, something has nabbed a dozen of the last batch, just missing, no blood or feathers.
We suspect a stray cat. Coyotes haven't come into the yard in years.
Plott hound has radar vision but nothing so far.

God bless
