It has been in the 80's or higher here but the wind has been blowing so the tanks are full of water. I have one solar well it keeps the tank full. I never had to break ice for the cows last winter I just put a longer lead pipe on so the water went to the side of the tank it kept the ice cleared off a 3 Ft area. I might put in another solar unit this summer as one well doesn't keep up with the number of cows watering at it.
