Wow, looks like nobody uses this forum any more. Here's hoping somebody reads and replies:
The knife (sickle) on a horse drawn mower often "plugs" at the outer end. I've obtained those section and a half to remedy this problem.
How does one put these on? (There is no hole in the spine for the third rivet.)
It seems one must buy an overlength knife (sickle) and cut it so the plan above can happen. Is this correct?

I have used those sections and just didn't put a rivet in the third hole and they worked.
