Anyone have any information on Walsh hames? My brother-in-law has a set and was wondering if he could get rich, lol. Not sure if 186 is year, paent, model, etc.

Just took another look at your post. 1876 is probably the patent year. Some folks think they have something that old when they don't realize it is the year of patent, not manufacture. Big difference. Are there any other markings?
Good luck on some collector needing them to finish his collection.

I never saw a pr of cast Iron hames they made them out of almost everything. I have 1 pr made out of aluminum, another pr made out of heavy sheet metal that are also the collars they are galvanized they are 22"
