Does any one out there vaccinate their sheep for pneumonia, if do with what. My daughter has had two out breaks where we had to treat the whole flock with some high dollar antibiotics. The ram alone has had pneumonia twice in the last year.

That might be a good question to discuss your veterinarian. He/she might be able to offer other preventive measures too.

I already had, my local vets. Don’t know much about sheep for a county of 2500 square miles, I can name only 5 people that raise sheep. So the vets don't really have much knowledge on sheep but lots on beef cows. I have also contacted the University of Wyoming every thing they suggested I’m already doing.

We have that same problem here. It seems that the U.S. has less drugs labeled for sheep than countries like Australia. My wife is a scientist who works for a large pharmaceutical company developing new animal health drugs. She suggested maybe trying to contact a veterinary college. They might be able to get you some answers.
