Greetings everyone, I am hoping for all of you a great Thanksgiving.
We here at Riceland Meadows have much to be thankful for. The crops have all been harvested, the sugarhouse woodshed lacks one more load of wood to be full for the year. The cattle and sheep are snug in their winter paddocks and pastures. The horses are secure and enjoying the lighter loads that winter can provide. Mostly we are working on firewood for the sugarhouse next year. We had a crazy hot, muggy then wet year making things difficult. Persistence paid off. God's blessings to you all

Valerie and I wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving day as well. It was a wet year with lots of crop losses, and some huge surpluses too.

God bless you all.

Go feed your faithful horses a bunch of carrots and thank them too.

Mike
