when I woke up this morning the ground had at least 3+ of snow and tonight there is still a bunch of snow on the ground it diffident all melt today. I don't haul cattle tomorrow but Tue,Wed,Thur we have more to haul.

Be safe on the road, K.C.. We also had some snow a couple of nights ago, but it only stayed on elevated surfaces till mid-morning, then melted quickly. Along with it came a freeze. Fore-warned, we picked the last of the tomatoes, peppers and quash of different kinds as well as covered the growing radishes and arugula. Now it's milder again.
Before that we got the rain we missed out on throughout most of the summer and received over ten inches within four days. The sump pump in the root cellar got to work.
