Look for ' BHS Working Horses 2015'. A field day with draft horses by the British Horse Society in Scotland. About 9 minutes in the video you will see quite an unusual horse drawn harvester that makes cone shaped hay resp. straw stacks in the field.

That is very neat. I wonder how well those stacks would shed water being built upside down. Still cool.

Scott, that is a valid question, but since Scotland has a rather wet climate I guess they worked that out. I noticed that the stack wobbled a bit when taken out of the cage, so I wondered how it would hold up in strong winds. Maybe it's not meant to be left outside for a longer time like the round bales or the big haystacks one sees in the video 'Horse-drawn Loose Haying'. Anyway, I was impressed with the contraption.
