Dris, thought I would drop you a line and tell you I talked with Doc Russell from Purdue. We had a great talk and he said to pass along a hello if I got the chance. So here is your hello from Doc!
He is a great guy. Hope this finds you and all well and doing well.

Jon

Thanks for the hello. Mark was very dear to Melissa and I and was helpful to us with all programs we did together with Purdue.

He spoke highly of both of you. Funny story, I met him when I was in high school and he was at the University of IL. My dad and I gathered a group of Shetland ponies, mares and studs for a study UofI is still doing today. We in the group got a standardbred stud that was 1/2 Standardbred 1/2 shetland, they thought he was the star! Put a helmet on him, wrapped his legs, man he was king. Come to find out, that was part of the study and his genetics just put them a year ahead! Then Doc moved to Purdue and when I showed up, took his class and resumed a friendship.
Have a great holiday season my friends.
