Yesterday afternoon I came in from mowing, hoeing and sowing to take a break and enjoyed the lovely show in the snow about the Schmidt's logging with their impressive horses. I also had never seen a two-man chain saw.
It must be that I am getting old and more careful, but I wouldn't be sitting perched high on the load - the sled could easily tip over if one of the runners on one side hit a snow-filled ditch or hole. I guess the Schmidts know their land well enough that this wouldn't happen.
Anyway, that was a wonderful episode of RH. Thank you, Joe, for bringing it to us!

Thanks Klaus. It was a fun show to shoot. Great people up there. What impressed me the most was the comraderie the father and son had working together.

I too enjoyed the program. You did a great job showing the logging portion and the horses.
