Well, here's the words, anyway..

Christmas is for kids, but what about ol’ Gramps?
He likes to have his fun too, even if it causes cramps

Them little brats gets all the toys, I say that it’s high time
for Gramp’s to have some too, thus this here little rhyme

I was complaining to the Missus that I needed some toys too
she just poo pooh’d and humbugs so I figured what I’d do

We had got them little rascals one of them new fangled snow ski’s
You know the one they use doin’ flips and such with ease

Well heck, I aint that old! Better give ‘er a try
I grabbed it up and headed to the sleddin’ hill for a try

Man! I had a blast! But the walk back up was hard
considerin’ how out of shape I am and packin’ some extra lard

Then I get’s an idea, Ol’ Snort is kind’a fat too
So I saddle him up and tie on a rope! Now this is what I’ll do

Snort can pull me up the hill and I will go to town
Wait a minute! How do I get him to follow me back down?

Then I thinks of my macarty, I’ll just tuck it under my belt
Just like when I’m ridin’, he leads good for an old pelt

It worked just fine, I swaps ends and heads on back down
but the dang fool horse jerks back, knocks me to the ground

Then the mcarty slips from my belt as I am trying to get my feet
next thing you know I’m in a wreck, when it’s over I’m plumb beat!

I got snow in my ears and down my neck and sort’a bunged up a knee
twisted an ankle and lost my glasses, so I can hardly see!

O K, so maybe I ain’t that sharp, I had to revise my plan
so I just stick to level ground and Snort pulls to beat the band

Yup, I am having fun now, happy as can be
only problem is, now I gotta buy them kids a new ski!
