Hay guys!
If this message finds its way to the front porch then that means that I figured out how to " make a new post ". If not then I am talking to myself again.

I think that I've got it figured out now. Does anyone know how long it takes for you to see your own post? Seeing my own words helps me keep track of where I am and I don't go on as many rabbit trails.

Hi Josie. I try to drop in on the front porch at least a couple times a day to approve posts. So, sometimes it might be several hours before your post is approved, and other times it might be just a few minutes. Occasionally, when I am traveling or shooting a video or photos for the magazine, I will go most of a day before I can check on the front porch. On those days, Susan, my wife, will usually cover for me. And when we are together on an assignment, Kelly who does a full time job with halftime hours, will cover for both of us.

Oh, thanks Joe!!
Its ok. I had a little trouble figuring out how to work the system so I wasn't sure if it was me or maybe something broke. And I thank you for taking the time to make sure that the comments posted don't get to aggressive.

Just wondering for future posts. Where do you stand on religion in reading and making sure that our posts are appropriate? As in,someone posts to someone else how them working with their team is affected by their religion.

I am a Bible believing Christian.

If what I said is confusing please ask me to clarify.

Hi Josie. I try to prevent threads from focusing on, or even straying on topics like religion or politics. Even as they may relate to lifestyle, farming and other aspects of a person's life. Just too much opportunity for contention.

That said, I tend to allow posts that talk about the impact of big ag on our society, economic policies, and other areas that could easily be considered political.

Welcome to the porch.

Joe
