This morning it was a nice cool morning. We had 60 F here in northeast Ohio. The humidity was down and the flies were sleeping in. The horses and I raked some second cutting clover hay. Everything went smooth. Our grandson is visiting from Montana. He rode along with me. I am sure he will take a memory from today home with him.

Wish I could have that here. Day before yesterday I had the horses hitched up to the plow all morning and the temperature gradually rose into the mid 90s with high humidity. I was plowing out potatoes , so the team got rests in between while we were picking up the spuds.
I have a really nice shade tree right by the field for my big guys to stand under. Which they did - motionless, while we were sweating.

Sharon, you are so very right! That last bale of clover went up the elevator just as the cool of evening came. It was a great night to sit and stare at the full moon to boot!
