I would like to change the openers on my John Deere 999 corn planter from the "shoe" type to a double disk type. Is this something that would have to be fabricated or would it just be a matter of finding a set and switching them? If so, any ideas where a set could be found? Thanks for your input.

You might call John Deer In Moliene Il.

I thought maybe you'd have a response by now. My 999 has double disk openers; I could take a picture if you'd like. I may have to PM it to you, as I've had trouble getting pics to load to this new site.
