The word is of course " surfing" the Internet , not " serfing". That belongs to a previous thread where farmers have become serfs of the various corporations that they have committed themselves to.
Horse farmers, to get back to the topic of this thread, belong to the kind with the greatest amount of freedom because they are not under the yoke of capital-intensive farming, as the example of the video shows.

Klaus, with that music you would expect Valkyries to be riding in, at the very least!
What an amazing video. How old is that cart?

Good thing it's level country with the load that high.
And what an impressively well trained team.

Thank you for sharing.

Mike, I have no idea how old that particular cart is, but I have seen pictures of this kind of cart from the 19th century, with iron-rimmed wooden wheels. They are quite popular in northern Germany and the Netherlands, also parts of Belgium. They are sometimes even used without a pole or shafts, s.th. that I find quite scary and unsafe.
What I find remarkable about the team that they even stand without the driver handling the lines while they are surrounded by other horses in the pasture where he unloads.
