It started with a few snow flakes about dark, Just looked outside at 1.15 and we had 2" of snow on the sidewalk and it is coming down fairly heavy now not much wind yet. Hope you all are ready for the snow. I put a couple more pieces of wood in the stove so it will be good until morning. I'm going back to bed now.

We have anywhere from 15-20 inches at present. It has been snowing for two days and is suppose to move out today , late afternoon.Wind is 20-30 mph so it is drifting now.
This was yesterday at 3PM

Never got stuck when I got back to the house I put chains on the pickup Just in case It gets worse. Gave my team some oats and turned them in on a new bale of hay. I'll give them the day off.

My daughter interviewed for job in Mccook Nebraska and said 15 inches there. Luckily just rain in Illinois. Wish you all the best weathering the storm.

Here in Kentucky, we had high winds all night. Woke up thinking it was a tornado, as it really sounded like a freight train coming through. This was followed by hard rain until early this morning. Today temps are in the sixties, may get close to 70, then back into the low thirties for the rest of the week. We have had a most unusual winter so far, and now they are telling us to brace for a dry year coming.
