I just finished reading the book by Ralph Rice. I wish we had more farmers like him - caring, considerate, thoughtful, understanding, full of great insights and being able to share his thoughts and experiences with his readers.
The book is a treasure trove of great little stories about what it means to be a farmer, live with animals and care for them as well as for the land. Some stories are also quite humorous and show that mistakes and/or misfortune are learning opportunities.
I couldn't figure out which publishing company did the job, so I assume it is self-published.

Klaus, the book is something of a hybrid. It was published under our imprint and we shepherded it through the layout and production process, but for the most part, it is a self-published labor of love by Ralph and Connie Rice.

Klaus, Thank you for your nice review! I am glad that you enjoyed the book.
There are parts of the book that I embellished a bit, but every story is true.
Bethany did an awesome job on all the art work. She is a talented person who pours her soul into what she does. My friend Gene Logsdon humbled me with his forward...and none of this would have come to be had it not been for Unk Joe and Susan. I will be forever grateful.
Lastly, an extra public thank you to my wife Connie for all of her support.
Thanks again Klaus
