I'm hoping someone can share their experience. Of our flock of 40 chickens that includes three roosters, we have had 3 hens die this morning. They died choking on their own blood. I have a suspicion that this could be Infectious Laryngotracheitis but I'm not a vet by any means. Has anyone had similar issues in their flocks? What ultimately happened and what did you do?
