Why will a well drained soil warm up more quickly than a poorly drained soil?

Just as a W.A.G.---possibly because the air in the voids between the soil particles warms up faster than the water would in saturated soil?

Water has a higher heat capacity than does air, and thus, absorbs heat which would otherwise warm the soil.
