In the end of Sept. I attended the DAPNet gathering with Nip (our blue ox) and the kids. It was nice to see Uncle Joe and his lovely wife Susan. I always enjoy visiting with them, because they have such a broad range of experiences and they have met some very neat people. I also got to meet Tommy Flowers which was a lot of fun. He bought his original Barbrant horses from a VT farm where my dad was the farrier. It's a small world.
For any of the Front Porcher's who attended the event. What did you think of it and do you have any suggestions on how it could be improved for future years. I was only involved with the oxen and would like some feed back on those workshops. Were they informative and what topics would people like to see discussed in the future?
