I have friends who used a team of Clydes to pull their sheep wagon around, that they lived in while herding goats this summer… I get to winter them and use the… about 17 hands or better they tell me and they are… wait for it…., BAYS!!!! Older and sound like well mannered and well trained.. I can hardly wait!

You're gonna probably love them until you have to pull the burdocks out of their feathers everyday. Good friend just picked up a 2 yr. old at a sale nearby. Hoping he'll match up with his older gelding. He's had a lot of fun with Clyde's over the years.

You're a lucky fella. Be sure to keep us posted about how it goes.

Burdock isn't a huge problem around here.. not sure about frozen snow and manure! :D I'll try and post some pictures as the winter progresses...
