Well, it looks like Spring is sneaking up on us. Started washing maple sap taps and making sure the hoses are clean. Need more buckets.
Horses are sure enjoying a roll in what little snow we have. Heck, we only got maybe 4" so far this winter. Cockleburs in manes and tails..... can't ever keep up. One bad hoof crack showed up this week.
All in all, can't complain. Didn't get the wood burner hoses in the ground, still paying for propane..... 'NEXT' year........... yeah.

God bless
Mike

We had that too for few days. 50-55 degrees during the day. Now it has been -10 F for three nights and no higher than 15 during the days and more to come. Still 15-18" snow on the ground

We had fifty degrees today, 45 yesterday. The spring sloppies are here. Moving round bales to feed was 'interesting'. 1/2" of mud, then ice to the center of the earth. Sure made some interesting trails but finally got the folks fed. We had a few inches of snow the other day, bringing our season total to 6". Looks like the drought is headed east.

Moving logs tomorrow.... should be fun.

God bless
Mike
