Is anyone going to the Fall Auction at Mt. Hope, Ohio next week ? From what I've heard there will be over 900 draft horses at this sale. Belgians on Thursday and Percherons on Friday.

Unfortunately too far away for me, but you have fun there. I will go to the World Percheron Congress in Des Moines, Iowa, next week Wednesday. The Congress lasts all week, but I am interested in the farm activities mostly. Hope to see farm type horses there, not the long-legged narrow chested hitch type ones.

The Mt Hope auction has changed their schedule. The percheron sale is on Thursday and the Belgians moved to Friday. You can check that on their website at mthopeauction.com. I plan to be there for the carriages and tack on Wednesday.
