Spent a little time shooting in Kennan, Wisconsin. Here are some shots of Jacob and Justin Davis tedding and loading hay plus cultivating soybeans on their dad's farm (John Davis).

You surely get to see a lot of great scenery, Joe. I look forward to the resulting show or article.
In Bavaria I used a tedder like that, here in Missouri with the summer heat we have which cures the hay in one or two days I never felt it was necessary. But I suppose in Wisconsin it is, right?

We used a kick tedder like that when we made hay in southern Wisconsin. Fluffs it up with little damage to the leaves. Now some manufacturers have started making new kick tedders like the old ones.

Great videos Joe.
The newly rediscovered kick tedders are becoming well known and used outside of Burton Ohio in our Amish community. The ones I saw working are very well made. Sealed bearings, nylon spacers, and grease zircs in the right places make them quiet and very smooth when operating. They do an excellent job of fluffing the hay.
