Couple days ago we were in the mid forty’s. Today at 2 pm in Gordon NE we are at 3 degrees and seven inches of snow and stil snowing. One thing about this kind of weather we might get the last two ewes lamb out. It made one of them have her babies, hope the other has her sometime this evening so I can at last get some sleep at last.

the temperature here was about the same and the snow that we got was only 3"-4" now it is 2-5 degrees. We wont start calving for 30 days, so it is just feeding the cows and horses for now.

All winter here in thee Kansas City area so far in seven snow events we got a bit over 5 inches . We should have receved more than 14. I am getting a bit worried about this drought that roughly 70% of the contiguous states are in.
But this week we'll see a surge in temperatures so at least I can get some work done, like spreading compost and replacing the plastic on one of the hoop houses. It was on for more than 10 years!
