Here is a couple of videos of Percheron mules mowing wheat hay in Manchester, Tennessee on May 8, 2017. It's a little over a minute. I shot it with an iPhone and stitched it together on iMovie app.

I have not posted any YouTube videos recently, so I hope you enjoy.

Thanks a lot for posting . Even though I never owned any mules , I enjoyed this a lot. I like both posts ( plowing and haying). It's always great to see how well-trained equines work with their human friends.

By the way, it must be very nice to work on such flat land!

Klaus,

We are in a very fortunate situation here in middle Tennessee. We have a really good organization. We meet monthly for supper and a meeting and usually have 30-40 members present.

When someone needs to mow hay or plow a field or what have you, you just put the word out to your friends and they show up to help.

And while middle Tennessee has rolling hills, most of our work is on flat land.

Uncle Joe came down here and went on a wagon train with members of our club. He stayed for our mule show on Saturday. It will be on Rural Heritage TV on RFD. We are all excited about that and discussed it at our meeting last night.

Thanks,
Doug Aaron
