Went to my sister and her husband branding on Friday. Rode out at 10 am to start gathering the first group and was done at 5 with the third group little over 800 calves branded. This what made me proud oldest daughter age 16 learn how to casterate with a knife, the gentleman that worked with her said she's a natural. The youngest daughter age 9 had the the privilege af dragging her first calf to the fire, dragged 5, still have lots to learn but she's learning.

that is what life is all about working with your children or someone,s children so they can learn about life. That is what makes your day and the children's day GREAT.
