I know spring is here because I saw a flock of geese through the blizzard yesterday.
It's got to be close because I can see the top of the wheels on my parts mowers through the snow.

Seriously getting tired of this high wind and snow. Been blowing for days and the snow drifts are over the fences. Not a good spot to calve in on the whole ranch. Cows are getting ready to drop calves in a couple weeks, heifers are starting now.
Weather lady says we have a big warm up on the way. I sure hope she's right!

Yes, Wes, spring is here. I sowed arugula, peas, beets and radishes already last week and on Feb 22 we planted the first row of potatoes. Way earlier than normal>
Another way of telling is that yesterday in the Kansas City area we got a number of tornadoes which caused a lot of damage , some only 8 miles east of our farm.

We don't have any snow left here now. we have had wind the last 4 days. my cows will start calving in 2 or 3 weeks. may the best come to you and yours. I don't want my cows to have twins as I don't know what I would do with all the bottle caves, I guess try to feed them.
