Old-Fashioned Day

We love Rural Heritage and thank you for the extensive coverage of NAIS. We are fighting to keep our part-time farm. On Sunday, April 27, 2008, we celebrated Old-Fashioned Day at Honey Locust Farms in Caledonia, New York.

This picture tells you which family member had the best time. Fred, nickname Red, is a red Holstein born on April Fools Day 2003. He stands 16.1 hands, or 65", and weighed 2,060 pounds at Fry’s Gravel Pit scale in October 2007. That little white box in center of his body is a 4-H “Got Milk” sticker.
