I was wondering if you could tell me a good book to get to learn anatomy theory and so on. I am working with a friend who is a farrier as much as I can, but would like to learn more. thanks, keith
I personally like Hickmans Farriery. It is a great book, and I think you will find it quite helpful. There is also Dr. Butlers
The Principles of Horseshoeing II or III. I like P II better than the new P III, but that may just be prejudice. P III seems unorganized to me. I also have a book available about the basics of farriery called Better Basics, Better Horseshoeing. It is $20, and just let me know if you would like a copy.
