I am starting on a restoration project and am wanting to buy a McCormick New4 horse sickle mower for parts. If you think you have one and want to sell it call me with asking price and send a picture. McCormick manufactured sickle mowers from about 1865 to 1930. The new4 was made between 1894 & 1915. They made the 2, 3, 4, new4, new big 4, 6, 7 & 9. I am not sure what parts would be interchangeable. "New4" is stamped where the seat connects to the main frame and it also has McCormick on the tool box lid and IHC stamped on the axle.
