Farm Question 8/13/2015
Posted by Jerry Hicks at 2015-08-13 04:55:55
Can an Ayrshire cow that has been dehorned be registered?

Once again I will take a guess.......yes.

My thinking being that an Ayrshire is naturally horned, and in order for it to be de-horned, it had to have been born with horns and the horns manually removed by paste/cutting/burnign etc (rather than bred out of them by breeding with a polled individual).
