Colt training video

Joe, I gotta say you hit it out of the park with the colt training video from Jason Julian. Best RH video you've ever done. The whole family enjoyed it. Keep that type of thing coming.

I also really enjoyed Jason Julian's careful method of training a colt: His thoughtful approach, always considering the state of mind of the colt can only be commended.
He also addresses hooking the snaffle bit into the snap on the neckyoke. One way to avoid that is to always turn the snaps towards the inside, another one, especially if one has fidgety horses, put some duct tape around the snaps.
One thing I have found when leaving harnessed horses standing attended for longer periods of time, one has to make sure that the quarter straps are either snug to the belly or that they are unsnapped, otherwise a horse that kicks high for a fly on the belly can get the foot caught with the ensuing struggle.

Bill, which video are you referring to? Is it one on the RH Vimeo chanel that I'm not seeing? I'd love to watch it too! Or is it a DVD available in the store? Thanks

Keith: I will make it available on my Vimeo channel after its last showing this week on Saturday at 2 pm. I will also make it available on this thread. Yes, it is available for sale on DVD, too.
