News from Zion Farm
Posted by Anna Knapp-Peck at 2015-08-04 18:21:18
This year was the first ever ox event at our county fair. Next year it'll be an official show. Both kids went, lain took Purple who is now 6 and Lain is almost 12. Troy used Nip who is 8 to Troy's 9. They are all getting old! We had two team come up from Lewis County and one local girl with a single. The local paper sent a reporter and it's nice to see so much interest.
We have lost all our old horses and now have two morgans one at 3 and the other is 13 they should the kids through 4-H and college. Life is good at the farm!

Nice to see you the other day Anna. Gordys rabbit took best of show! I think we got talked into bringing goats and sheep for next year. Too much going on this year.

Hi Anna, thought I saw you pull in to Lewis County Fair. Was judging the draft horses and didn't get time to come visit. Hope you folks had a good show with your oxen.

That was us Mark. Sorry I missed you. We only took purple this year, I enjoyed being a spectator and seeing the fair.

Bill, it was nice to see you to. I'm glad that you may be bringing more animals. It would be nice to see the sheep barn full! Tell Gordy congratulations on the rabbit. We found out Troy's buck is a doe, don't ever ask me to sex a rabbit for you.
