I finally got around to setting my mower to hook 3. I gave it a try last night and it seems to work wonderfully. There is still some tinkering to do and I have not gotten it into heavy grass yet but I think it was a success. Here is a link to a bunch of pictures I took while I was making the hitch.

Nice job. Does the tongue tend to pull towards the right on a load due to the eveners pulling from off center on the left side of the tongue ?
Jim It runs pretty strait when clipping pasture but I suspect it will have some side draft when in heavy hay crop. I have a couple thoughts about helping with side draft if it becomes a problem but so far so good.
Why do you need three? are you working Shetlands? Properly setup mowers pull easy if sharp.
Dale I use Haflingers and we get pretty heavy hay crop up here. I have been using 2 and resting a bunch but thought I could use 3 and keep going. I like to ted right after cutting so my hope is this will keep them fresher and make that job easier as well.
