pioneer forecart hitch ?
Posted by paintpony at 2015-03-21 11:23:58
Does pioneer make an extension for ball mounts on the back? I have a bench seat and it's sure a bugger trying to get a trailer hooked to the cart because the bench frame is in the way. If I can get an extender for the ball, it would be way easier.

I installed a receiver hitch on my forecart. Then you can use any 2x2 hitch in it, quick and easy to change. Pioneer offer a bolt on option, but you can make it your self .

Yes, Pioneer sells a bolt-on Reese receiver, or Reese type. Or you can get one anywhere.

Or you can get a tractor type seat for use when hooking ball hitch trailers, which gives more clearance than does the bench seat.

When hauling ball hitch trailers, it's good to keep in mind that there isn't much clearance beneath that trailer, if anything happens and you or a passenger or bystander end up underneath it. People have been killed and torn up that way, so using all due caution for the sake of safety I think is advisable, as always.

I have the Pioneer receiver on my cart. If you have the bench seat on you practically have to lay down to put the pin in it when putting on their carrier. The ball insert not so bad.
