For Klaus Karbaumer
Posted by Anna Knapp-Peck at 2015-03-17 17:14:51
Hi Klaus, I just found the Amish man Joe Hostetler who makes my ox harness is the father-in-law to the man who built your shoeing stocks. The son-in-law came for a visit and talked about Klaus so Joe went out to the shop and got the envelope you sent me with the harness information and it was the same name and address. Joe wanted me to let you know! Anna

It's a small world in a way, isn't it, Anna?( By the way, nice to hear from you). My shoeing stock was built by a guy in Lowry City, Missouri, who then goes to New York State to mention me.
The irony is, that I sold the shoeing stock at an auction after it turned out that the new horse I had it built for, was afraid of it since it didn't resemble to metal one he was used to. Meanwhile I do not need a shoeing stock for him anymore because I was able to convince that free-standing in the barn aisle was a better deal and he gives all his feet willingly and without any struggle.
