Missed the Southern Indiana sale for the first time in years. Weather was just too brutal--kids had school cancelled all week, and I cut all outdoor activities down to feeding and checking stock tanks. Yard hydrant froze up, so I had to use a sled to ferry water from house to paddock.

How much of a crowd did they have, and any bargains due to the weather?

I hope to be attending the KY sale next month. If anybody wants me to bring along any plow parts or complete plows just let me know. That way there is no UPS or PO charges! or 803-259-6500

At Southern In. they had about 1/3 machinery and wagons and half carriages. A pretty good supply of antiques and small stuff including harness saddles and collars. Sorry did t mean to steal the thread.

I was at southern in sale fri, crowd was light due to the weather, cataloged horses were high but after they sold what crowd they had cleared out and horses were much cheaper, not a lot of horses for a big sale but I think some of those horses from ky just could not get there,

The weather at the southern Indiana sale was bad. The new heaters in the main barn helped out a lot. The driving horses and the drafts sold well. I was too much of a wimp to stand outside and watch the machinery sale. Aren't some of the southern Indiana sale folks involved with the Kentucky sale ?

Haven't ever been to the Scotsville sale. Do they sale the old stuff like bells, seed cleaners, primitive type stuff. I'm. I'm not that far from there.
