I thought I'd pop in the Porch and let everyone know the no power experiment is going well, and that we are still alive in NY state. I also wanted to wish the fellow porchers and early Merry Christmas! Anna

What do the Porchers' do for Christmas traditions? The kids hang stockings in the barn and put treats in them for the horses and steers.

She's getting a little use but the old man (me) needs more time. HS is going fine. We're going to be at TSC in Gouv this Sat selling at a 4H fund raiser if you get over that way. Merry, merry to you all!

Great to hear all is well up north, Anna. Met a fellow named Chris the other night when we were giving wagon rides, said he knew you. He has a steer he does some work with. We are going to try to get together soon. Merry Christmas to you and your family, and all the rest on "The Porch".

Hi Mark, you must have met Chris Santie. He brought his family to the Lowville fair, so we could meet up and discuss working a single ox. They are really nice folks I'm glad they have found a friend in you. Anna
