As long as we're asking about southwestern NYer's, I see Farmer Brown moved to Pa. What drove you out of the highest taxed, most restrictive state in the Union?

first let me say that now you know why linda is the one that does the posting iam sorry i shouted with the capital letters.by the way if some of the words look a little funny thats farmer brown english enough said. my daughter and 3 grand boys live in factoryville pa and we live a couple of miles away in tunkhannock pa.we live 150feet from rt92,the railroad runs a 150feet behind the house and the river is 300 feet beyond that depending if its up or down. yes we are learning to live with people.and there two black horses running around between the house and the railroad.i am clearing a spot for a barn this morning but the train just whent by so i have to stop and put the dishes back on the shelves. Farmer Brown is that the pair you had in West Springfield? They were pretty hot. It was great putting a face to a name.

well i hope that i was more than jst anorther pretty face.yes they are the black deviles i had up there the smaller one is turbo and he is wicked quick and fast hence the name, the bigger one is named jet and he is stout and speeddy,. iwas doing alright during the pull till they took me off my feet and draged me down the skidway,i was really glad they stopped .i shoud probably say that this was not the fist time this has happened to me if you drive horses that are that big and that quick sooner or later they will yank you off your feet and its not always the first pop when they hit it powerfull horses when they hit the second step will do it to you thats what happened on the second load up there onthe second step they took the sled right out from under the ball it wasnt the start.i know some of you probably think iam crazy and i might be just alittle bit but as i write this iam looking at a picture of 3 horses pulling a two bottom 14 inch sulky plow at the great lakes show in mich.about 30 sec. after that picture was taken i hit a rock and it threw me completely off the plow and i lite right on my back on the moldborards thats my excuse. right next to that picture is a plaque and areal pretty ribon about three feet long on which it says reserve grand champion whorld percheron congress 2014,now iam not saying you have to be crazy to do what i do but people can uderstand that.(living the dream)
