Farm Question 12/09/2014
Posted by Jerry Hicks at 2014-12-09 05:04:27
What, if any, relationship exists between the shell-color and the nutritional value of eggs?
Response by NoraWI at 2014-12-09 17:56:14
No correlation whatsoever. Egg color means nothing about the food value within.
Response by Jerry Hicks at 2014-12-10 05:01:18
None. There is no correlation.

But, but..... I heard an "authoritative" radio announcer on a country station assure the listeners that the brown eggs were the best because "they were the fertile eggs".

Almost drove off the road. Sent the guy a nasty e-mail. No reply!

When my dad was alive he always wanted my green eggs. He said they had less cholesterol. Don't know if that's true of course but he lived to be 90.
